Sides and Sauces

No meal is complete without some accruements!

Cilantro Jalapeño Sauce
This is great to put on nachos, chicken, tortilla chips, and anything else you want to add a bit of tang to.

*If you don’t want it to be as spicy, take the seeds out of all, or some, of the jalapeños.

Mexican Corn Dip
I love corn and this dip is no different. If you have leftovers, stick them in some wonton wraps and bake with some extra cheese on top and a drizzle of Sriracha.

*Alway, ALWAYS add extra cheese.

Tequila Lime Slaw
Tequila, in a slaw… Pair it with some grilled shrimp tacos, a marg, and preferably the beach too.

*I had an excess of red cabbage after so you can either leave it out, or I’ll try to help y’all out by finding a great red cabbage recipe.

No Yeast Focaccia
It is so incredibly easy and is great on a charcuterie board, with pasta, or dipped in olive oil. You can get creative and make ‘veggie art’ on top or just mix it up with a bunch of different spices.

*I cooked mine in a glass pie pan. Do any shape you’d like, just keep an eye on it!

Roasted Lemon Honey Garlic Asparagus
Without a doubt the easiest and most delicious pairs-with-everything side. I stumbled upon this as a side when cooking salmon and it was the star of the meal. This is has become my go-to marinade for veggies.
